Author Bio

JK Smith, a native Texan, explores the boundaries of sanity in his first novel, Cry The Machine. Smith utilizes a minimalist style of writing, formerly used by Cormac McCarthy and James Joyce that allows the story of his lead character, Remy, to flow in uninterrupted fluidness to an unimaginable conclusion. Smith currently resides in New Mexico where, in the company of his six canines, he works diligently preparing for the release of his next novel.

An elderly man, diffident and kind. His wife, dead, and he pulling further from those familial figures before passing on to a place both malleable and foreign. Trapped in these new lands he searches for the comforting things he once knew.
